Carnegie Hiring 2019-2020

Laurier Brantford’s official yearbook, The Carnegie, is currently looking for volunteers for the 2019-2020 academic year. If you’re interested in design, photography or student media, and want to make next year The Carnegie’s best yet, make sure you get involved!

NOW HIRING: DIRECTOR OF DESIGN

Laurier Brantford’s yearbook, The Carnegie, is looking to bring in a Director of Design for the 2019-2020 academic year. The role of the Director of Design may include, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Assisting with concept development for the theme of the publication
  • Working with the design team on theme execution
  • Leading the design team on page/spread layouts
  • Developing a marketing campaign (in collaboration with the Photography and Infrastructure & Development directors) to engage campus-wide
  • Developing infrastructural assets to assist with the transition of the role beyond this year
  • Attend weekly director meetings and occasional all hands meetings

This role gives you the opportunity to grow your skills and challenge yourself to lead in an environment focused on growth and development through high-quality deliverables. It is LER eligible and a great opportunity to build experience in creative fields. NOW HIRING: DIRECTOR OF INFRASTRUCTURE AND DEVELOPMENT

Laurier Brantford’s yearbook, The Carnegie, is looking to bring in a Director of Infrastructure and Development for the 2019-2020 academic year. The role of the Director of Infrastructure and Development may include, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Promote, establish and strengthen partnerships within the Laurier community
  • Establish a presence on campus through event coverage and representation
  • Help ensure the alignment of publication goals with objectives and actions of the design and photography teams
  • Assist the directorial team in most effectively managing time/staff/resources
  • Attend weekly director meetings and all hands meetings

NOW HIRING: DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY

Laurier Brantford’s yearbook, The Carnegie, is looking to bring in a Director of Photography for the 2019-2020 academic year. The role of the Director of Photography may include, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of volunteer photographers to secure high-quality photos
  • Managing a team of volunteer photographers to develop skills
  • Working with other directors to host clubs and athletics photo days
  • Working in an advisory role on a marketing campaign for The Carnegie
  • Developing infrastructural assets to assist with the transition of the role
  • Attend weekly director meetings and occasional all-hands meetings
