The Brantford Analytics Assistant reports to the Brantford Operations Manager and helps run Brantford’s data analyst sessions. The assistant will work with about 10-15 volunteers and will help provide training in SPSS and Excel. The Assistant will also work with the Waterloo Analytics Manager to ensure data is properly entered. The Assistant will also help brainstorm stories to be written by Brantford pollsters.
Essential Duties:
- Train analysts in data entry
- Distribute completed surveys to analysts for data entry
- Run statistical tests
- Brainstorm potential analyses for members
Essential Tasks:
- Familiarity with statistical analysis
- Experience with statistical software (Excel, SPSS, or equivalent)
- Ability to work in teams
