Laurier Student Poll Market Researchers & Analysts

    Job Description

Market Researchers are general volunteers. They collect data using in-person surveys, focus groups, and other methods. They are also encouraged to get involved with other aspects of the organization, such as data analysis, graphic design, marketing, human resources, Canadian Press editing, business development, and other areas depending on their interests and skill set. Regular participation is strongly encouraged, but volunteers have flexibility to choose what projects they would like to contribute to. Market Researchers must be detail-oriented and should enjoy communicating with others.

Analysts are specialized volunteers. Their responsibilities can vary according to their interests and skill set. We offer our Analysts hands-on experience in data analysis, graphic design, marketing, human resources, Canadian Press editing, business development, and many other areas. Regular participation is strongly encouraged, but volunteers have flexibility to choose what projects they would like to contribute to. Past experience in a related area or general volunteer experience within the organization is an asset.
